A combined team comprising members of the Anti-Drugs Squad stopped and searched a CRV car driven by Zaw Ko Ko Oo together with his companion Than Sein (aka) Kyargyi on the Hpa-an-Zathabyin Road near Shwedaw village, Shwedaw village-tract, Hpa-an Township on the afternoon of 24 January and the team confiscated 2,000 stimulant pills from them. On the same day, a combined team in Mandalay searched a man namely Myint Oo at a teashop in Pyigyidagun Township, Mandalay Region and 1,400 stimulant tablets were found from him.
Similarly, a combined team comprising members of the Anti-Drugs Squad raided and searched room No. 6 of a house, where Ah Sot (aka) Bawhayar has stayed, in Yanaungmyae Ward, Tachilek Township, Shan State (East) and the team confiscated 134,000 stimulant tablets. Police have filed charges against them under the Anti-Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
