Pado Saw Kwe Htoo Win said the move is to discuss the potential signing of the nationwide ceasefire accord, whose draft text was agreed in principle between NCCT and the Union Peacemaking Working Committee (UPWC) at the Myanmar Peace Centre in Yangon on 31 March.

When asked about the venue of the conference, he said, “Pangsan, Mongla and Lawkhilar have initially been chosen for the conference.”
NCCT is planning to call a meeting prior to the conference, according the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP). Ye Khaung Nyunt and Myat Thanda Maung
