Nearly 6 mln gallons of oil unloaded at Terminals of Thilawa Port

Tankers carrying nearly six million gallons of fuel oil are unloading cargoes at terminals in Thilawa Port located in Thanlyin, according to the Supervisory Committee on Import, Storage and Distribution of Fuel Oil.
Moreover, 0.44 million gallons of petrol and over 5.5 million gallons of diesel from two tankers were unloaded at the terminals of Thilawa Port on 17 October.
The Yangon Thilawa Oil Reservoir distributed fuel oil to filling stations sufficiently up to 16 October. As the fuel oil prices are slightly down in international markets this week, oil prices in the domestic market remained stable, according to the committee.
Additionally, 2.18 million gallons of diesel and 4.74 million gallons of premium diesel were unloaded at the Thilawa Port Terminals on 12 October and a tanker carrying 6.13 million gallons of diesel docked at Thilawa Port. — TWA/GNLM
