The Taungthaman al Resort is being built on a 40-acre plot east of Taungthaman Lake in the township. The project site, more than 1,900 feet from Taungthaman Bridge, is located near Taungthaman, Nwanotawsu, Tenatha and Ywathit villages.

The company formed by 12 Myanmar entrepreneurs will spend between K200 million and K300 million on the first phase of the project.
The company plans to implement the project with the assistance of foreign experts and seek advice from them in purifying water for local consumption.–Min Htet Aung (Mandalay Sub-printing House)
