Officials release date for EPS-TOPIK test

Myanmar migrant workers can apply for the test for manufacturing, construction and agriculture/livestock sectors in South Korea from 7 to 23 July 2022, according to the statement of POEA-EPS on Wednesday.
The application process will go online and the application link and QR Code can get on the POEA-EPS Facebook page, Ministry of Labour website http://www.mol.gov.mm and Safe Migration Facebook.
Those who successfully pass the online process will get the application form number and the officials will announce the exact date for payment of the test on Facebook and the website, it said.
The test registration fee is US$24 and it can be made in Myanmar kyats.
The applicants can apply with Passport for Visit (PV) or Passport for Job (PJ). Those who pass the test must have a Passport for Job (PJ) with a one-year term at least when they apply for the job. They have to take Computer Based Test, it added.
The time and venue of test for manufacturing and construction will be announced on 3 August and that for agriculture/livestock on 12 October.
The EPS-TOPIK and Skills Test for construction and manufacturing will be from 16 August to 15 October while the agriculture/livestock from 21 October to 23 December.
The results will be announced on 22 October for manufacturing and construction and on 30 December for agriculture/livestock.
The pass mark of EPS-TOPIK is over 55marks out of 100 for manufacturing and the estimated number of successful candidates is 7045, the pass mark for construction and agriculture/livestock is over 36 marks out of 90 and the estimated number of successful candidates is 1485 for construction and 595 for agriculture/livestock.
Only the data for the test mentioned in the statement of POEA are approved and those who meet the criteria can apply for the test, and those who pass the exam can work in South Korea, it said. — TWA/GNLM
