Online capacity building training to open for SME businessmen

Online capacity building training courses will be opened on 4 September for those who wish to start and for those who wish to extend their SME businesses, according to SME Development Department, the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry (MoPFI). This online training course will be opened free of charge jointly with the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection (DISI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). There are two types of training business idea stage for those who wish to start their businesses and early stage business for those who have already started their businesses.
These online capacity building training courses are aimed at developing of the capacity for better assessment of the business environment; improving of business capabilities; developing the ability to formulate and employ business planning techniques; providing of basic knowledge to develop the businesses and getting started with better business plans to do one’s own business.
The online training courses will take 12 days. Upon completion of the training courses, the trainees will be able to develop the business plan and implement the best business. The first prize is K1 million while the second and third K500,000 and K300,000 respectively for early business stage training and the first prize is K500,000 while the second and the third K300,000 and K200,000 respectively for business idea stage.
