Over 15,000 people receive COVID vaccines in Hsihseng Township

Locals receive Covid jabs in Hsihseng Township, Shan State (North).

Healthcare officials gave COVID-19 vaccines to local people at eight rural health centres in Hsihseng Township, northern Shan State at 9 am on 10 October.
The vaccination campaign began on 19 September in Hsihseng Township.
A total of 3,068 doses of vaccines, including 826 first doses (second batch), 1,242 first doses (third batch) and 1,000 first doses (fourth batch) were available for Hsihseng Township.
A total of 15,430 local people from Hishseng Township, Parlaw Parkae Village, Sightkaung Village, Banyin Village, Tabat Village, Taung Shae Village, Naung Kyawt Village, Naung Mon Village and Lweput Village received the COVID-19 vaccines.
Members of the fire brigade, township administration staff and volunteers also assisted in the vaccination campaign where necessary.
