Over 200 apartments of Aung Myint Mo, Thilawa affordable housing to be sold

More than 200 apartment units of Aung Myint Mo and Thilawa low-cost housing complexes developed in the Yangon Region will be sold, according to the Ministry of Construction.
Prospective buyers who have a deposit of K3 million and above with the Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Development Bank (CHID) until end-December 2022 are entitled to purchase the apartment units.
They will be scrutinized to purchase 204 units of the low-cost and affordable housing of Thilawa and Aung Myint Mo housing projects from February 2023.
Those who have not deposited K3 million with the CHID will not be considered in the scrutiny process that will take place on 27 January, the ministry stated.
Aung Myint Mo housing is developed in Dagon Myothit (South) Township, including 12-unit apartments (four units each on three floors), 32-unit ones with four floors and 24-unit ones with four floors.
Meanwhile, the Thilawa low-cost housing project is located near Thanlyin Technological University, having 20 units (5 floors), 30 units (5 floors) and 40 units (5 floors). – TWA/EMM
