Over 40-year-olds get COVID jabs in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw

The first dose of COVID-19 vaccine was given to people over 40 years of age, with a total population of 7,522 on the morning of 25 September (yesterday) at No. (1) Basic Education High School campus in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw.
On the same day, healthcare officials also gave the first dose of the vaccines to people over the age of 55 at the same venue.
The COVID-19 vaccine type is Sinopharm and healthcare officials used 1,606 vaccines for the first dose, and 1,000 vaccines for the second dose.
Vaccination teams from the Township Public Health Department and vaccination teams from Tatkon Battalion are continuing to vaccinate people over the age of 40 and those who have yet to be vaccinated for various reasons.
The chairman and members of the Township Management Committee visited the vaccination sites.
