Over 55-year-old Bengalis receive COVID vaccines in Myebon Tsp

Healthcare officials gave the first dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines to over 55-year-old Bengalis in Taungpaw ward, Myebon Township, MraukU district, Rakhine State yesterday morning.
Under the leadership of U Min Oo, Chairman of the Township Administration Body, health workers, general administrative staff, township police, township fire brigade, and ward administrator led by township medical officer Dr Than Tun participated in the vaccination works. The Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines were given for the first time under the guidelines of vaccination for the target group.
The chairman of the township administration body and members visited the injection site and told the Bengalis who had received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to come and get the vaccine within the second set date. —Tin Win (IPRD)/GNLM
