Over 600 local, foreign artists to reveal integrity of Bagan from 7 to 11 Jan

Over 600 local and foreign artists and sculptors will gather in Bagan to exhibit their works from 7 to 11 January, 2020 at the Bagan Archaeological Museum honouring the World’s Heritage
Bagan.
Organized by Myanmar Artists and Sculptures Asiayone (Central) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, “Art Expo Bagan 2020” will showcase works of 620 artists including those from 20 countries.
During the five-day period, an Online Art Trading Platform will be introduced and veteran artists will also demonstrate the basic steps for painting and sculpturing.
The first everlargest gathering of artists at the world’s heritage site is aimed at revealing and conserving the historical cultural heritage through the soft power of the arts.
During the period, the artists will create outdoor paintings and exchange artistic skills in efforts to enhance their life style.—GNLM
