Over K1.5 bln worth of Happy Water captured in Tachilek

Over K1.5 billion worth of Happy Water was captured in Tachilek township in Shan State, the Myanmar Police Force stated.
A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force searched and examined a paper carton, which was carried by Ma Phyo Kaythi Kyaw to be sent to Yangon, at the Tachilek township at 4:30 pm on 7 September.
Officials captured K585 million worth of a total of 7.8 kilogrammes of Happy Water.
Police also arrested Ma Mu Mu Kyu (aka) Nan Laung Ngin, Sai Wi Lat and Ma Mi Nyah together with 8.52 kilogrammes of Happy Water worth over K930 million, a Toyota Crown and a motorbike in Tachilek township at 5 pm on the same day.
The police have taken legal action against the offenders and an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators of the crime chain. — MNA/MKKS
