Nay Pyi Taw, 7 April — A seminar was organized at Grand Amara Hotel here on Thursday by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) in an bid to convince foreign employment agencies to follow ethics.
Deputy Minister U Htin Aung delivered an address at the seminar, which focused on laws concerning the protection of migrant workers from exploitation, bullying and forced labour.
According to some laws, job agencies are responsible for the provision of services for safety of Myanmar workers sent abroad to work. MNA
