Paper reading session of 51st Myanmar Health Research Congress launched for first day

The paper reading session of the 51st Myanmar Health Research Congress is underway yesterday.

The paper reading session of the 51st Myanmar Health Research Congress (first day) was held at the Medical Research Department in Dagon Township of Yangon Region yesterday.
During the event, Union Minister for Health Prof Dr Thet Khaing Win presided over the session together with Director-General of the Medical Research Department Prof Dr Zaw Than Tun.
Then, the resource persons read out their papers respectively and the attendees discussed papers.
Next, the Union minister gave a speech of conclusion and the morning session of paper reading was concluded.
The congress will take place from 20 to 24 February. During the congress, 18 basic research papers, 32 Applied Research papers, 8 Health Systems Research papers and 34 research posters will be presented. The paper award selecting subcommittee will present the best paper awards including Basic Research, Applied Research, Health Systems Research, best poster and young researchers.
The experts from the Pusan National University of ROK, and the Miyazaki University of Japan will attend the congress in person and the ones from the University of California Davis of the US will attend online. —MNA/KTZH
