A passenger bus ran over a landmine planted by AA on the Yangon-Sittway Road in Myaybon, Rakhine State, yesterday but no one was injured in the accident.
The blast between the Mile Post No. 69 and 70 occurred at 4:45 pm and caused damages to the bus which was en-route from Sittway to Yangon.
Authorities arranged for the passengers onboard to be transported with another bus.
The Myanmar Police Force announced that the destructive actions of AA group on the main road has caused trouble for the people using it, and actions will be taken against them in accordance with the law for their destructive acts.—MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Lin)
