Peace delegation led by NDAA (Mongla) vice-chairman returns to Kengtung

The NDAA (Mongla) vice-chairman-led peace delegation leaves for Kengtung yesterday.

The peace delegation led by Vice-Chairman U San Pae of the National Democratic Alliance Army-NDAA (Mongla), which had arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on the invitation of State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, returned to Kengtung of eastern Shan State by flight yesterday.
The peace delegation was seen off by officials of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee, officials and ethnic people from the Department of Fine Arts at Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport holding miniature State flags and placards bearing, “Perpetual peace is the real aspiration of the people”, “Achieving peace is the true desire of all citizens”, “Let’s hold talks for peace in the Union”, “Only the ethnic nationalities are in unity, stability, peace and tranquillity will be achieved”.
On arrival at Kengtung Airport, it was welcomed by Commander of the Triangle Region Command Maj-Gen Myo Min Tun, township/district level departmental officials, political parties and the people who want peace. — MNA
