Pearl & Jade lots displayed at Mini Gems Emporium 2021 in Nay Pyi Taw

The first day of the Mini Gems Emporium was held yesterday at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw under the COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Myanmar held its first gems emporium in 1964, with 95 emporiums sold in foreign currency and 19 in Myanmar kyats. This is the 96th Pearl and Jade Emporium sold in foreign currency.
On the first day of the emporium, local and foreign jewellers observed pearl and jade lots on display in the hall and designated areas outside of the hall from 9 am.
The minimum sale price for pearl lots at the emporium is US$1,000 and the minimum price for jade lots is 5,000 Euro. The pearl lots will be auctioned by an open tender system on 18 and 19 December and the jade lots will be displayed from 17 to 19 December and will be auctioned on 20 and 22 December. —MNA
