P&G celebrates World Water Day in Myanmar

Procter & Gamble (P&G) and its international partners will celebrate the 25th anniversary of World Water Day in effort to do their part to help end the global water crisis.
Through the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) Program, more than 15 countries will deploy campaigns designed to raise awareness to further CSDW’s ability to bring clean drinking water to those who do not have access.
According to official figures from the Ministry of Health and Sports and the World Health Organization (WHO), around 20% of Myanmar children dying under the age of five die from diarrhea-twice as much as global average and around the same as in Sub-Saharn Africa where water is often scarce1. The global of the campaign is to raise funds to contribute 750,000 days of clean drinking water through World Vision Myanmar.
