Pilgrims peacefully visit pagodas including Shwedagon

Although the pagodas including buildings or temples of other religions were temporarily closed during COVID-19 pandemic, all were reopened in accordance with the COIVD-19 health rules starting 8 February.

Meanwhile, the pilgrims and visitors including monks and nuns visit the Shwedagon of Yangon Region, Maha Muni Pagoda of Mandalay Region and Uppatasanti Pagoda of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and other pagodas of regions and states accordance with the COVID-19 health rules.

Moreover, Islamic religious schools, Churches and Hindu temples across the nation are also reopened in accordance with the COVID-19 health rules and the people of respective religions peacefully do their religious matters.—MNA
