Plan to conduct polling household cost for designation of minimum wage

A training course for polling household costs to designate minimum wage, conducted by Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, was opened at Myoma House in Aungmyethazan Township on 8 January.
Mandalay Region Minister for Forestry and Mining and Region Minimum Wage designation committee chairman U Than Soe Myint made a speech. Director-General of Labour Department U Myo Aung explained implementation of the work process.
The polling household costs will be conducted in 108 townships including 13 in Mandalay Region, eight in Magway Region and three in Kachin State.
The polling team will comprise seven members from Township General Administration Department, Planning Department, Labour Department, social organizations, representatives from employee and employers.
A total of 168 trainees attended the two-day course.–Tin Maung (Mandalay)
