Plan to hold consultation on drawing frameworks for administrative reform

Nay Pyi Taw, 14 May—The consultation on drawing frameworks for administrative reform will be held in Nay Pyi Taw on 23 and 24 May, focusing on topics of capacity building for government service personnel, improvement of public service, decentralization, transparency and accountability, Union Minister at the President Office U Hla Tun told the coordination meeting of administrative reform committee, here, on Thursday.
The committee chairman union minister said that participants need to discuss endeavours of the government, achievements, main challenges and future plans, adding that discussions in the consultation must be a long-term strategic foundation for the development of the State in third wave reform process.
Vice chairmen of the committee Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Brig-Gen Kyaw Zan Myint and member of Union Civil Services Board U Khin Maung Aye, members deputy ministers, Adviser to the President Dr Zaw Oo and officials together with region and state ministers and Adviser to the President Dr Aung Tun Thet participated in the discussions.—MNA
