Police arrest illegal Chinese with narcotics, weapons in Muse

A total of 19 Chinese citizens illegally living in Myanmar were arrested in possession of weapons and illegal narcotics in four separate raids in Muse, northern Shan State on 15 and 16 May. On 15 May, a joint team arrested 10 Chinese citizens including Laung Hwa, son of Khun Hu Tar, at the Tar Sauk Ti Kaw Entertainment Centre of Win Nin Company Group owned by Lin Htet Oo in Swan Saw Ward, Muse, together with 15 laptops, 15 mobile phones, 3 monitors, 2 USBs, a CPU, a printer (Kyocera), 6 Wifi devices, 7 Chinese phones, 10 laptop chargers, 10 computer mouses and 7 earphones.
In a separate raid at Yi Lone Saung Spa in the same ward on the same day, two more illegal Chinese were arrested.
On the same day, another four Chinese citizens were arrested at the house of Chain Hmon in the same ward, together with a gun, 20 bullets, a magazine, a 9-mm pistol, 10 bullets, and a magazine.
On 16 May, the joint team raided the house of Li Ti Chan, and arrested three Chinese citizens together with two M-22 guns, 2 magazines, an M-21 gun, an M-16 gun, a magazine, a Lukar pistol, a magazine, 25 kg of ICE, 37.7 kg of heroin, and 120,000 stimulant tablets. The narcotic drugs are estimated K 18,000 million.
The suspects, illegal drugs and weapons were handed over to the Muse Myoma Police Station, according to the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services. — MNA (Transalted by Kyaw Zin Tun)
