PRC donates $0.4 mln for NRPC

The People’s Republic of China contributed US$ 0.4 million for the National Reconciliation and Peace Centre in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

At the NRPC, Union Minister for the State Counsellor Office U Kyaw Tint Swe, in his capacity as the vice Chairman of the center, received the donation presented by Mr Sun Guoxiang, the Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC, and the latter explained the reasons of donation and accepted the certificate of honour for the donation.
Then, NRPC Secretary and Deputy Minister U Khin Maung Tin expressed thanks for the donation which was also attended by the directors-general of the Ministry of State Counsellor Office and Chinese officials.—MNA
