Precautionary measures underway in villages of Rathedaung

Supervised by the Rathedaung Township National Disaster Management Committee, pre-evacuation activities and relief and rescue operations for villages that may be affected by Cyclone Mocha are being carried out in a timely manner in Rathedaung Township of Sittway District, Rakhine State.
A total of 48,925 residents from 10,106 households, 58 villages, and 28 village-tracts in lower regions moved to the schools and monasteries in higher-land villages by ferries and motorcars.
