Myanmar’s traditional outfits and dressing styles are beautiful, auspicious, admirable, simple and elegant. They can give peace of mind to the eyes of the beholder. Myanmar’s major ethnic groups Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Bamar, Rakhine and Shan have their own cultural identities. Their traditional costumes will give you an awe-inspiring impression of their cultural values.

Buddhism beliefs are heavily related to Myanmar girls’ dressing styles and culture. Myanmar girls wearing Yinphone blouses and Htamain (sarong) to preserve the tradition and cultural heritage are young women’s perceptions and traditional ideals in the country. Foreigners can recognize a Myanmar girl by looking at her attire.
The majority of Myanmar girls look shy and dignified. They are good-natured, quiet and peaceful.
