President U Thein Sein held talks with former Prime Minister Mr Goh Kun of the Republic of Korea at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday to discuss cooperation in implementation of the new village project.
The meeting focused on sharing of technology, construction of necessary infrastructures, seeking the market for products, and completion of projects in a short time.
Also present at the call were Union Ministers U Myint Hlaing, U Ohn Myint and Dr Kan Zaw, Deputy Minister U Tin Oo Lwin and officials.
The former Korean Prime Minister was accompanied by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Myanmar Mr Lee Baek Soon.
President U Thein Sein also received Vice Chairman of China-Myanmar Friendship Association Mr Geng Zhi Yuan at the hall of Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw.
They discussed promotion of bilateral relations between two peoples of China and Myanmar, participation of the association in Myanmar’s development tasks including Muse region and cooperation in development of infrastructure tasks.
Also present at the meeting were Union Ministers U Win Myint and Dr Than Aung, Deputy Minister U Tin Oo Lwin, Chairman of Myanmar-China Friendship Association U Sein Win Aung, Secretary U Myo Aung and officials.
