President U Win Myint met with the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Mr. Maithripala Sirisena, in the board room of the Soaltee Crown Plaza Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they openly discussed promoting bilateral relations between Myanmar and Sri Lanka, increasing trade and investment between the two countries, and closer collaboration between the two countries at both the regional and global arenas.
Present at the meeting were Union Minister U Kyaw Tin, Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal Thiri Pyanchi U Tun Nay Lin, and other officials.
