Private company to upgrade Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Park

The government signed a long-term rental agreement with a private company to upgrade the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Park into a modern amusement park.
The Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee agreed with tender-winning company San Myat Tun Company to upgrade the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Park with 48 types of modern sports for entertainment purposes on 1 September.
During the agreement term, a total of 48 types of sports activities including Roller Coaster, Zip Line, Surfing (big), Artificial Wave, High Roller and Mono Train will be implemented under a three-year project. Moreover, it will also upgrade the three-storey lake, waterfall, Water Movie and Water Dancing.
While shaping the Nay Pyi Taw into a Green City, a Clean City and a Smart City, the cleanliness and modernity of the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Park play a key role, and so the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee invited tender to create the park into a modern one in accordance with the rules and regulations.
The tender-winning companies should fix the entrance fee that the people from all walks of life can afford, arrange the traditional food stalls of ethnic people, textile shops, restaurants, playground and shows in the park and emphasize the creative doings year on year and upgrade work successively, said Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee Chairman Mayor U Tin Oo Lwin. — TWA/GNLM
