Not only the Union government of Myanmar but also state and regional governments need to well nurture human resources of the workable age people by creating the chances for them to participate in the manufacturing industries so as to promote the State economy.
Currently, Myanmar cannot effectively utilize the human resources for the development of the nation. Especially, only when agricultural and livestock farms, micro-, small-, medium- and heavy-industries must be established at home will the employment opportunities be created for local people.
Consequently, the public consumable rate will increase. Raising the local consumable rate shows the booming of the domestic market as well as the economic growth of the nation. It is because the local consumable rate is based on the development of manufacturing industries and the increased income from production.
Up to now, authorities concerned and businesspersons do not encourage the operation of industries to manufacture the products but emphasize the import of goods from the international market in both legal and illegal manners. As such, manufacturing industries at home has been facing loss for a long time.
Practically, when the imported goods occupy the market share setting aside similar products from local industries, not only the business people from the local industries but all the workers relying on the production chains face a tremendous loss for their lives.
That is why it is necessary to adopt the policy on the import of goods to protect the interests of local manufacturers and employees. While taking action against those carrying the imported goods without customs duty through the illegal routes and the undisciplined service personnel under the law, the authorities need to encourage the domestic manufacturing industries for the development of production.
Moreover, the appropriate business environments must be created for local businesspersons and workers with the plans to solve the financial and technical problems, enhance the work capacity, grant the tax exemption, establish the markets and arrange the trading networks through the Internet. Indeed, it is necessary to establish the domestic manufacturing industries and their development as a national duty.
All Myanmar people must be capable of deploying and utilizing human resources in man, money and material management processes. All the people must have strong confidence and put their reliance on owned natural and human resources in order to manufacture quality products which must be able to compete with imported goods in the domestic market for public consumption.
