Photos show anti-terrorism protests are in action yesterday in Yangon (L) and in Nay Pyi Taw (R).

Protests against MNDAA terrorists, who attacked the Tatmadaw hospital in Lashio Township of northern Shan State with the use of rockets, heavy weapons and drones, causing deaths and injuries to residents, departmental personnel and families of security forces receiving medical treatment at the hospital, were staged in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon yesterday.
Protests took place in front of City Hall in Thabyaygon Ward of Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw and in front of City Hall in Kyauktada Township in Yangon.
Protestors, including monks, first took position at designated sites carrying placards bearing letters opposing MNDAA, TNLA, AA and PDF terrorists, and ‘A Righteous War Must be Won to Eradicate all Subversives’, among others.
They then saluted the national flag and sang the national anthem.
Representatives of those who do not want violence talked about inhumane attacks of MNDAA terrorists.
They altogether chanted slogans opposing MNDAA and their subordinates and concluded the demonstration. — MNA/KTZH
