Public rally held in Tachilek to show support for President U Win Myint

A group of local people gathered at a rally in support of the newly elected President U Win Myint in front of Shan Yoma Field in Tachilek, Eastern Shan State on Sunday.
First, local people at the rally saluted the National Flag and listened to an inaugural speech delivered by President U Win Myint.
Afterwards, Chairman of Mizzima Social Organization U Tint Swe and Joint Secretary of the township National League for Democracy U Win Swam explained the purpose of the welcoming ceremony.
A local cultural troupe also performed dance and song to the participants in the rally.
The event was jointly organized by Mizzima Social Organization and the township National League for Democracy.
U Tun Nay Oo, the owner of Hotel Tachilek and Bayintnaung private market and his wife Daw Khin Khin Cho contributed 12,500 Thai Baht to the rally.—Myanmar Digital News
