Nay Pyi Taw, 4 Feb—Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Pyithu Hluttaw Thura U Shwe Mann received Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong of Singapore and party at the hall of Hluttaw Complex, here, on Wednesday.
The speaker also held talks with Mr Scot Marciel, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Department of State, the United States of America, and party at the same venue.
Also present at the calls were chairmen and member of Pyithu Hluttaw committees and commission and officials of the Pyithu Hluttaw Office, Singaporean Ambassador Mr Robert Chua and US Ambassador Mr Derek Mitchell.—MNA
