Rakhine State govt donates food, supplies to frontline forces

Rakhine State government officials view the preparation for donations.

Well-wishers and government personnel are contributing foodstuffs and cash awards to Tatmadaw members and security forces who are diligently fulfilling state’s defence and security duties on the frontline.
A donation ceremony, organized by the Rakhine State government and various departments, took place on 4 September at the Rakhine State government office.
Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, Commander of the Western Command Maj-Gen Kyaw Swa Oo, departmental staff, and social organizations attended the event.
During the ceremony, the chief minister explained the purpose of the donation and handed over foodstuffs and supplies valued at over K8.3 million to the commander of the Western Command.
The donated items will be delivered to Tatmadaw and security forces serving on the frontlines. — MNA/TMT
