Rakhine State govt, social organizations provide aid to storm-hit people

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint presents aid to storm-affected people in Kyeintali of Rakhine State on 13 May.

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint on 13 May arrived at Kyeintali Department of Information and Public Relations and inspected damage of the drain and blockage of soil in its at the back of the office.
Then, he instructed officials to submit a report to the head office for repairing the drain to have proper flow of water without harming the office building.
In meeting with 187 local people from Ale Village who take shelter at the MyoU Taungpaw monastery, the deputy minister encouraged them and presented instant dried noodle and eggs provided by the Township Administration Body to them.
Three monasteries and Ale Village Basic Education Middle School accommodate 338 people from 83 families living in the wards and seashore in Gwa Township. It is reported that the state government as well as relevant departments and social organizations provide aid to those disaster-hit people. —MNA/KZW
