Readmission of Myanmar migrant workers from Thailand through the Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Bridge, which has been suspended, will resume again starting from 1 August.
A total of 200 people per day will be allowed to return from Thailand through the bridge, and arrangements are being made to facilitate the reception of the returnees systematically following the COVID-19 rules and regulations.
Officials from the Myawady District Administration Council and the Township Administration Council inspected the preparation BCF zone at the bridge yesterday morning and provided necessary assistance. – Htein Lin Aung/GNLM
