Regional development activities inspected in Shan State

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung inspected the concrete paving work and the construction of the clinic in the Buddha Park in Pankwe village in Loimwe village-tract of Kengtung township on 7 September.
The Union minister arrived at the border youth development training centre (Loimwe) and provided school uniforms, notebooks, stationeries and sports wears. He then warmly greeted students and inspected the school compound.
The Union minister viewed the solar-powered irrigation facilities under the implementation of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development on the bank of the Namkhin Creek in Kengtung township.
The Union minister then inspected the solar-powered irrigation facilities through the Namlwe Creek implemented by the Ministry of Border Affairs and the pilot project cultivation in Wamkok village of Mongkhet township and fulfilled the necessary things.
He also inspected the solar-powered irrigation facilities in Taungthonlone village of Mongkhet township, the road paving work, concrete bridge construction on the inter-village road in Kathtike village-tract of Kengtung township and the gravel road paving work on the Kathtike-Loipantoung-Ingolon road. — MNA
