Registration for SIM cards notified

The Department of Post and Telecommunications notified that the filling data such as name and citizenship scrutiny card-CSC number when registering SIM cards are checked in line with the information in the National Database of the Ministry of Immigration and Population.
Upon their incorrect registration data, SIM card users will receive a notification message (SMS) requiring them to re-register correctly within 30 days.
Phone services such as outgoing calls, outgoing SMS and data usage will be suspended for those who have not re-registered with valid CSC numbers within 30 days. Furthermore, SIM cards of those who fail to re-register with accurate information within 90 days will be confiscated.
The notification called for SIM card users to re-register with correct CSC information in the application, website, relevant mobile operators and stores. —TWA/KZW
