Relief camps at schools and dispensaries, supply of water, searching and relief measures inspected in Yathedaung

Maj-Gen Aung Myo Tun, accompanied by U Naing Lin Htet, Chairman of the township administration body, along with other officials, arrived in Yathedaung Township to oversee storm damage restoration efforts.
They inspected supply of purified drinking water produced by the Tatmadaw water purifier vehicle to the people in the urban area of Yathedaung, and the clean-up of the damage caused by the storm. Subsequently, they viewed round participation of Tatmadaw members, and rescue and relief teams in progress of clearing debris.
They also looked into distribution of relief supplies to the storm-affected families at No 2 Myoma BEHS in Yathedaung and preparations to open high schools in urban areas as well as healthcare services being provided by Tatmadaw medic teams.—Yathedaung IPRD/KZW
