Roads linking Mon, Taninthayi upgraded for smoother transportation

The main roads named Phayagyi-Mawlamyine-Dawei-Myeik-Bokpyin-Kawthoung, which is linking Taninthayi Region and Mon State has been upgraded by continuous efforts of the Highways Department, Ministry of Construction, officials said.
For decades, only speed boats were relied on this voyage. The road is now accessible in a short period, officials added.
