RTAD to confiscate wheel tax on non-installation of new number plates

The Road Transport Administration Department has announced that wheel tax cards of vehicles that have not been installed with new embossed number plates will be confiscated.
If the vehicles without new number plates are found out in the second week of May, the owners will be fined K5,000 and if they are found out in the third week, wheel tax cards will be confiscated. Will new wheel tax cards be issued only when the vehicles have been installed with new number plates. — TWA/MKKS
