SAC Chairman PM Senior General Min Aung Hlaing pays homage to Mwedaw Kakku, Shwephonepwint pagodas in Taunggyi

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing yesterday morning paid homage to ancient Mwedaw Kakku Pagoda in Taunggyi Township of Shan State (South).
The Senior General presented cash to the all-round development fund of the pagoda to the pagoda board of trustees chair U Khun Kyaw Hsan and officials.
The Senior General cordially greeted the local pilgrims and left instructions on the systematic maintenance of the pagoda for long-term existence, and beautifying tasks.
Yesterday evening, the Senior General, his wife and party paid homage to Shwephonepwint Pagoda in Taunggyi and offered flowers, water and oil lights to the pagoda.
After enjoying the natural beauties of Taunggyi from the viewpoint of the pagoda, the Senior General instructed officials to conserve natural resources in Taunggyi.
The Senior General and his wife donated cash to the fund of the pagoda through the pagoda board of trustees. — MNA/TTA
