Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the delegation led by Mr Shatirov Alexander Sergeevich, Director of Fund RC-Investments from the Russian Federation at the parlour of the SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
They cordially exchanged views on manufacturing value-added products with the use of minerals and natural resources of Myanmar, plans to conduct research for the conservation of natural resources, exporting agricultural and livestock products as well as marine products from Myanmar to Russia, promotion of bilateral trade, production of modern furniture and other equipment by using forest products of Myanmar and technology, production of pulp, cooperation in the enhancement of direct aviation transport and tourism sectors between the two countries, plans of Russia to do research on Myanmar’s promotion of transport sector, investments of Russia in Myanmar, further promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation, and future plans.
The Senior General and the Russian Director exchanged commemorative gifts and had documentary photos taken together with attendees.
Also present at the meeting were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw. The Russian Director was accompanied by delegation members and officials of the Russian Embassy in Myanmar. — MNA/TTA
