SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing asks about health conditions of Bhamo Sayadaw at Mandalay General Hospital

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla paid homage and asked about the health conditions of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Chairman Mandalay’s Bhamo Monastery Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa receiving medical treatment at Mandalay General Hospital yesterday morning.
The Senior General enquired about the health conditions of the Sayadaw. He then asked the medical superintendent and officials about arrangements for providing medical treatment and meal supplies for the Sayadaw and urged them to fulfil the need.
The Senior General supplicated progress in building Maravijaya Buddha Image in the Maravijaya Buddha Park in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, obeisance of members of the Sangha from various regions led by member Sayadaws of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee to the Buddha Image, aims of building the image to show flourishing of Theravada Buddhism in Myanmar to the world, to be a focal point of Theravada Buddhism in Myanmar, to be the country peaceful and prosperous and ensure peace and prosperity of the world, plans to mark the Vesak Day on the full moon of Kason on 3 May 2023, efforts for shaping Myanmar as a focal point of Theravada Buddhism and righteous standing of the Sangha organization led by venerable Sayadaws.
The Senior General and his wife offered medicines, nutritious foods and cash for nine prerequisites to the Sayadaw who administered Dhamma.
The Senior General asked the medical superintendent and specialists about the health conditions of the Sayadaw and fulfilled the need. — MNA/TTA
