State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla greeted family members of the Heads of State who served State duties in successive eras and families of senior military officers who will attend the ceremony to mark Diamond Jubilee Independence Day which take place on 4 January 2023 at the Bayintnaung guesthouse in Nay Pyi Taw.

Then, the Senior General and wife individually greeted family members of the Heads of State who served in State duties in successive eras and families of senior military officers who were Daw Than Than Nu, daughter of U Nu, Daw Lei Lei Yu, daughter of U San Yu, U Thiha Saw, son of Senior General Saw Maung, Dr Khin Sanda Win, daughter of U Ne Win, Daw Nay Yee Ba Swe, daughter of U Ba Swe, Daw Cho Cho Kyaw Nyein, daughter of U Kyaw Nyein, U Zaw Tun, son of Lt-Gen Tun Yi, and Dr Cho Lwin Oo, daughter of U Sein Lwin in a cordial manner, asked about their daily life, individual health conditions and other needs and attended to the needs. — MNA
