SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing donates offertories to Theravada Buddhist Missionary (Central) Monastery, Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery in Lahe of Naga Self-Administered Zone

State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing yesterday morning offered alms to Theravada Buddhist Missionary (Central) Monastery and Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery in Lahe.
The Senior General and party paid homage to members of the Sangha led by the Abbot of the monastery Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Sumana at Theravada Buddhist Missionary (Central) Monastery and asked about the propagation of the Sasana and education learning of children. The Senior General donated cash for nine prerequisites, rice, cooking oil and foodstuffs as well as K5 million for teachers of the monastic school of the monastery.
After viewing round the precinct of the monastery, the Senior General gave instructions on the maintenance of the monastery and beautifying tasks and attended to the needs.
At Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery, the Senior General paid homage to nuns led by nun Daw Paññasingi. After asking about religious affairs and learning measures, the Senior General donated cash, rice, cooking oil, foodstuff and nun robes.
The Senior General viewed round the precinct of the nunnery and the refectory and made donations, and instructed officials to carry out maintenance of the nunnery for its long-term existence. — MNA/TTA
