SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla pay homage to Sacred Tooth Relic Pagoda (Yangon)

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits the Sacred Tooth Relic Pagoda (Yangon) in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region, yesterday.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and officials yesterday morning paid homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic Pagoda (Yangon) built on Dhammapala Hill in Mayangon Township of Yangon Region.
The Senior General and party offered flowers, water, oil lights and fruits to the pagoda.
The Senior General and his wife presented collective cash donation by families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) for overall renovation of the pagoda to members of the pagoda board of trustees who returned Dhamma gifts.
The Senior General and party paid homage to the replica tooth relic of the Lord Buddha kept in the pagoda.
The Senior General inspected maintenance works for ensuring long term existence of the pagoda and instructed officials to carry out cleaning and beautifying the pagoda and overall renovation of the pagoda including cleaning of the terrace.
The Senior General beat the bell of the pagoda.
The Senior General, his wife and party paid homage to Rector of the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University Aggamaha Pandita Aggamaha Saddhammajotikadhaja Mahadhammakathika Bahujanahitadhara Dr Bhaddanta Hsekinda and supplicated propagation of the Buddhism and development of education sector before seeking the advice.
