SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds talks with Adviser to Russian President and Executive Secretary of Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee Mr Anton Kobyakov

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in the Russian Federation, held a meeting with Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee Mr Anton Kobyakov on FEFU Campus in Vladivostok of the Russian Federation in the evening local standard time yesterday.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Council Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union ministers, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Lwin Oo and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Moe Kyaw. The Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee was accompanied by Deputy Minister for Defence of the Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander Vasilievich Fomin and officials.

Both sides frankly exchanged views on the invitation to the 7th Eastern Economic Forum-2022, thanks for the hospitality, building good relations as good friends between the Russian Federation and Myanmar and two armed forces as the 75th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and Myanmar will fall in the coming year, construction of the history of firm relations in the civil relations and promotion of economic cooperation similar to successful cooperation in military technology, plans to unveil new cooperation sectors between Russia-Myanmar fraternal nations, arrangements for running the direct flights in order to enhance the tourism industry and promote the trade sector, and further strengthening the friendly ties between the governments and the peoples of both countries and sector-wise cooperation.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee exchanged gifts. — MNA
