SAC Information Team holds 21st Press Conference

The 21st Press Conference of the Information Team of the State Administration Council took place at the Ministry of Information yesterday.
Leader of the Information Team Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, member of the Union Election Commission U Khin Maung Oo, spokespersons of relevant departments and representatives of departmental information teams replied to queries raised by the media.
First, the Leader of the Information Team explained the conferring of honorary titles and medals, pardon to the prisoners, matters related to ASEAN, financial and trade affairs, the education sector, implementation work in shaping Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw into Green City, Clean City and Smart City as per the guidance of State Head and terror acts through Power Point Presentation and video clips.
Then, UEC member U Khin Maung Oo reported on the actions taken against those who participated in lawless cases, voting frauds and procedures of 2020 general election, compiling and checking of basic voter lists, polling stations and materials for polling stations estimate and ongoing work plan of UEC through Power Point Presentation.
Then, the Leader of the Information Team, the UEC member and representatives of the departmental information team replied to queries raised by media personnel and the press conference was concluded.
The press conference was also attended by SAC’s information team members, representatives of relevant ministries, officials from the Tatmadaw Information Team, guests, and reporters from local news agencies, daily newspapers, local TV stations, and local-based foreign news agencies.
