SAC member MoHA Union Minister makes inspection tours in Mandalay, Sagaing regions

State Administration Council member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut stressed the need to release information regarding destructive elements, killings of innocent civilians, government staff and administrative officials and robbery cases of the terrorists in the country, launch security measures and show loyalty to the members while meeting the security forces members and families in Sagaing Region on 7 September.
He appreciated the border guard police force members who sacrificed their lives in the defence of their outposts attacked by armed terrorists recently.
He continued that the Prime Minister focuses on the education sector and that parents should prioritize the education of their children. Family members should operate small-scale agriculture and livestock farms and officers should encourage subordinates to do so successively. He also called for true news to be clarified and vigilance about spreading misinformation and rumours on social networks.
Then, the Union Minister inspected the region police training school and enjoyed lunch together with the trainees.
On 8 September, the Union minister went to the police officer training school in Mandalay and met family members of trainees. He provided cash assistance after having lunch together with the trainees.
The Union minister said it needs to implement a trainee-centred approach following the motto of “study-practise-follow” and use school libraries effectively. He also instructed the detailed points to motivate in carrying out security duties jointly with Tatmadaw.
Then, the Union minister met officials of affiliated departments of the ministry at the Mandalay Region Police Force office and left the necessary things. — MNA
