The December Walking Festival, plus other public sports activities, were held at Danyawadi Stadium in Sittway, Rakhine State, yesterday morning. December is designated as a public sports month for the health of the whole nation, and combined public walks and sports activities are carried out nationwide.
More than 600 people, including State Administration Council Member Dr Ba Shwe, and officials, participated in the collective walk. As a public sports activity in Sittway, collective walks and sports activities are conducted every Saturday. — MNA/KZL
